Payment and prep time recommendations for 2024

(taking into account the current inflation rate)

Script Supervisor

1674 Euros for 50 hours per week

Including creating script breakdowns: For every 20 images in the script = 2 preparation days.

Without creating script breakdowns: For every 20 images in the script = 1 preparation day.

When shooting several episodes (series) in parallel, if the number of pictures is 200 images or more, there is an additional 1 preparation day per 100 images:

For example, from 200 images = 1 extra prep day, from 300 images = 2 extra prep days, etc.

Pre-scripting and participation in reading or acting rehearsals and production meetings before filming is not included in these preparation times and must be paid additionally as additional work.

Create the pre-script: usually at least one working day for every 90 minutes of film length.

The incorporation of amendment pages/new versions after the film version has already been prepared requires additional work and must be paid in addition; the same applies to the reposting of amendment pages/new versions (overtime/weekend work).

Script Trainee

650 Euros for 50 hours per week

1 preparation day for all formats

Specially qualified additional personnel

Complementing the existing position for special shoot requirements:

Depending on requirements, the fee per shooting day is based on the fees listed above.

If there is more than one day of shooting, at least 1 preparation day (see rule by number of pictures above).

Substitute

for Script Supervisor or Script Trainee (in case of absence):

At least the same fee as the absent colleague.

For more than 2 shooting days, at least 1 preparation day should be paid afterward (based on the rule regarding the number of images).
